Paper Submission

Members and friends of the European Finance Association are welcome to submit research papers to be considered for presentation at the 2012 Annual Meetings.  Papers on any topic related to finance will be considered. The deadline for paper submission was midnight PST on March 5, 2012.

In order to submit a paper and participate in the EFA Annual Meeting you need to be a member of EFA for 2012.  A membership costs €60 and also gives you one year subscription (paper and online) to Review of Finance. The Review of Finance is published by Oxford University Press (OUP) which also manages the EFA membership database.

ConfTool manages the online submission system: http://www.conftool.com/efa2012

Papers should be submitted electronically in pdf-format. The first page should include the title and the abstract, but no references to the authors. Besides the anonymous copy, please also submit a complete paper with author(s) information using the second upload button in ConfTool.

PhD students who have not yet been on the job market have the option to submit a single-authored paper to both the doctoral tutorial and the annual meeting free of charge (without an EFA membership). The PhD submissions must include a CV and a letter from their PhD advisor verifying their current PhD student status and declaring that they have not yet participated in the job market. Use this link to register and submit as a PhD student without paying the EFA membership fee: https://www.conftool.com/efa2012/index.php?page=register
